DST is finally here!
Remember to spring ahead tonight!!
Yay more sunlight!!!
yuck, more darkness
Same amount of light - just shifted.
Seems like more to me! ☺
Because you prefer late day light, like me! Deb is a morning person.
Good thing I slept late today, I think I'll do it again tomorrow, (just to be sure I get my beauty sleep). lol
No time to sleep - work on the ark.
It'll be more daylight for me! I don't do mornings. Except on vacation, I'm usually up for sun rise. The only thing I've found as good as a beach sunrise and surf fishing, was a Key West sunset and Margaretta. LOL Ric
Me too, Ric. I tell people if I want to watch a sunrise I'll just stand on my head and watch the sun set.
Looks upside-down.
Too many Margaritas? (lol)
Is that possible?? ^_^
YAY!!! I love that it stays lighter longer. Sooooooo NOT a morning person.
it's dark out
funny, I actually like part of my walk to be in the dark, so there is less distraction and more time to just let my mind wander, but I don't like it pitch black, too spooky
I second that Sherrie!!!
Not a morning person here. I'm liking this!
Yeah, I agree w/ Sherrie too, I hate this changing back and forth with the time stuff, it messes up my biorhythms, produces undue stress on the body, probably shortens one's lifespan too, ...it just ain't natural!!
Ugh! I have to be at work an hour earlier today!
Love it, Love it, Love it!!!
Well it's 5 PM and it's.........dark! ^_^
Morning/evening person here: the only time of the year I get enough sleep is Winter.
At my age 6 hours of sleep doesn't work like it used to.
I rise at 5 M-F: it's dark out from November to March. March to November, I'm squewed...
I second Sherrie on getting more done.
Plus - all the cool birds are up early on the west coast - and the frogs, too!.
OK - back to changing clocks & the rock wall.
Mornings are easier on the left coast, Kate, knowing that we've been though the misery already. ^_^
oh, so that's why I like them - you've already taken out the bad part!
With this ugly weather, we still have not seen the difference.
It was dark at 4, 5, 6 and now it's just plain dreary.
Tomorrow we will see the real benefit of DLS time. It has been too dark and dreary to get the full effect yet. Dark again in the am but not for long, so I think it is a good trade off. Now all w need is some actual sun to really appreciate the extended daylight.
I had already messed up my internal clock from being out west 2 weeks ago. Last week I started setting an alarm 1/2 hour earlier, so this week would be easier. I was also using the alarm so I could get 5 miles in on a work morning. So far so good.
AHH Sunshine!!
Grumpy and Sleepy here - and I'm not talking dwarfs!
I'm actually awake early today! Weird.
Me too - heard the birds. Didn't get up, though. ^_^
Finally we get to enjoy the later sunset. Nice!
the downside for me.. there is still not enough hours in the day
I have to admit I did enjoy coming home from work while it was still sunny and warm enough to see the crocus open, and to spend the rest of the day til now outside raking, and wandering in the garden.
