CLOSED: Various birds from Islands of Hawaii

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

What species are these songbirds among doves and others? These were seen at Maui Island one of the lovely remote Hawaii Islands of the U.S. I've a pocket guide to Hawai'i's Birds. But have yet found their I.D. I'd appreciate your help.

Not 100% but in the first pic it looks like there might be a male House Sparrow on the branch between the feeders.

Yep. As an aside, note that Rock Dove and Rock Pigeon are just different names for the same species.

Thank you Burd, Pelle and Resin. We're on a row here! I thought I recognize the housefinches there too. How about this one, I may have a pair male and female of a same species? These were taken at Kilauea volcano National Park. I thought they're more colorful here.

Here is a pic. of some waterfowls roosting on a tree. Sorry the quality isn't the best. They perch there day/night. What are they please?

Not a native species among them, unfortunately... except possibly the last 2 photos - can't make out what they are - possibly cattle egret (also introduced).

Oh, the chicken is very close to Jungle Fowl, but one also sees some very domesticated-looking ones (i.e. heavy-bodied, rather than small and lithe).

AG, sure enough. There are Castle Egrets from Africa that were introduced into Hawaii in 1950's. Many thanks.

Okay, here is another unknown "city bird". :-)

"Here is a pic. of some waterfowls roosting on a tree" - I'd agree with Cattle Egret

Thanks Burd. There are so many attractions on the Islands of Hawaii, I was told there are 160 of them, eight of which are the main populated Islands. Others are national perserved for wildlife habitats! I'm longing for return visit to explore some of the remote areas and its wildlife refuge region while I can.

Thanks Resin for the confirmation of the Egrets. Okay, more help is needed here. Is this a Least Sandpiper?

I believe these might be the Ne Ne's. This was taken at a hotel but we saw them all over Kauai along with the endless chickens. I wish I cold have gotten a picture of that unusual pheasant (or was it a peacock?) that looks like a rooster on the BI.
