We are trying to id a tree. I have pictures to post. This tree grows in Tennessee.

Thank you for posting a very good range of photos, showing each part of the plant in question. You don't know how valuable that information is for those wishing to assist here, and how informative it is to others who also have difficulty with ID of plants that are unfamiliar. It is also great that you mentioned that the tree grows in TN, rather than having folks assume that is in your region of northerly Indiana.

Many times, only one picture is provided - along with some indignation when that's not enough. Always take plenty of shots (electronic images are essentially FREE, for goodness sakes), and post as many as are needed. This then becomes another small encyclopedia of knowledge for those who come after us.
