They finally made it here! They were tired and hungry from their trip, so the first thing they wanted to do relax on the picnic table and snack on some bbq chicken.

The Lads on Vancouver Island
HOORAY!!!!!!
The lads and lady's last adventures can be found at: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1064160/#new
(and one of them is indeed FEMALE!)
So glad they got to you. I was getting a bit worried about them.
Ann
Great pictures. They must be THRILLED to see a real garden since most of their journey has been during the winter. Gnome is Jerome Jr. - a smaller version of our original Jerome. I don't remember the names of the others - maybe Winnifred for the bear, but I'm not sure.
Hello - been a long time since I've popped into this thread.
edited to change some wording.......
I have been asked (lovely person who phoned me) by someone, to stay, so guess I shall.
My DH made Divisionals, in bowling - I'm sooooo proud of him!
Ciao and be well,

Susan - so sorry you will be leaving, but I'll be in touch at the other site.
Canada won! They were jumping up and down like crazies!!!
Teresa
Great photos of the "crew" and I'm happy to see them cheering on our team!
Lovely GREEN around your garden, I'm jealous!!!!!!
Ann ( with still 24 inches of snow on my yard)
24 inches of snow? OMG!
Hello from snow laden Thunder Bay. The TROOP looks great .. been a long time since we have seen them, and I am positive they are enjoying life in the 'banana belt' of Canada after seeing SO much snow.
They must have been a handful during th game Teresa, you know those Mounties can sometimes get a bit 'rowdy' LoL
Terrific to see 'things' back online.
Ummm Susan .. are you over to 'cubits' for good ?
~M~
Awesome photos! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the photos, Teresa - nice to have them in our home town !

So .. I take it we have stopped the Gnome Tour of Canada ? Let Sleeping Gnomes Lay ..
Only reason I ask is that the local paper (here in Murillo it consists of MAYBE 8 pages and is out once a month) wanted to do a little write up on them and their journey .. when I had them (way back when) the 'social editor' was away and unable to do the article.
It was fun while it lasted eh? ^_^
~M~
I'd forgotten all about them? It IS summer, isn't it?
It was fun while it lasted........
They sure seem to be sleeping somewhere - both sets.
Bummer. I did send them onto the next person on the list. I wonder what happened....
I had them, I was last on the list. I'm trying to remember what I did with them..... I think they maybe holed up over at Heatherbelle's, in her lovely garden.
WHEW! I'm glad that you got them... I wondered what happened! ;-)
They are indeed enjoying retirement in my garden (Mr. Gnome, Bear mountie and Moose mountie). My resident gnomes have taken the new one into their lives and homes and he is part of the extended gnome family that lives at the side of the house, amongst the ferns, in the woodland area. The mounties are doing a great job patrolling the perimeter of the garden against unwanted guests (deer, bunnies, racoons and the neighbourhood cat called Muldoon, which my three felines hate with a passion!) So far there have been no arrests They do sometimes have a bit of a problem with the fairy population that reside here but are adopting a "live and let live" attitude.
All in all, it is a good life,
Heather
