I have found a couple of my plants with this very small yellow mushroom looking things and now it going through the soil as well.
Do I through them out or can I fix them.
I have a picture but a little blurred , an experienced person might know it!
Helpppppppppppppppp! Sort of feels rubbery.....................................
What is this yellow stuff through my soil?
Probably a type of slime mould that is feeding off the compost. Looks like you have bark chips in there which aren't really suitable for houseplant medium.
I would take the plants out of their pots and get rid of all the compost, washing the plant roots if necessary and repot them into some new houseplant compost.
Hello kniphofia,
Thank you so much for your input.
I appreciate your time and effort to help.
I had a plant that had all these little pod looking things, brown in color and looked like it was about half inch deep over the whole top of soil.
Would you have an idea of what they might have been?
Like maybe cacoons for some Insect or something, but very small.
Thank you, heaps.
Debi
These may have been plant food granules which are often mistaken for pests :)
