change in bird's food

I have Elliot the Goffin's cockatoo. For the last two weeks, the pet store where I buy the food has had a different mix. Seems like the company changed the formula and added some kind of flavoring too. Elliot won't eat the food, he picks out the peanuts and throws the bowl on the floor. I've tried to find the mix like he is used to, but no luck. Any suggestions to get him to eat his food?
