Sue, this was quite a surprise when I checked in to DG and saw this. You're so sneaky! I do love my Louisianas. For those of you in other parts of the country, I hope you will try a Louisiana iris in your own garden. They are extremely forgiving plants. They will grow in almost any condition, from bogs to raised beds. They can thrive almost countrywide as well. Some of my favorite cultivars are not even from Louisiana, but from Australia!
