I am working for a few weeks as the farm assistant at a high school in sydney. I am usually teaching here, but with a young baby 4 hours a day is easier to manage.
we have had a huge mulberry which refuses to provide fruit. It seems to flower , and I believe they are self fertile. It gets green immature fruit but we never see any ripe fruit, which is a shame.
A clue may be that the site was used for some kind of chemical storage before it was a school.
Any ideas? marianne
