paint on fabric - help!

I was visiting our new museum quarters here and accidently brushed up against painted trim around a door. I didn't notice it or I would have washed it out while it was wet. Is there anything that will take dried paint off fabric (velour, in this case) without ruining the fabric? It was acrylic paint.
