Anyone wanting to go from gaited to non-gaited?

Melfa, VA(Zone 8a)

I live in SW Virginia and my husband has recently begun to have some real issues with his back. So...my Arab trail gelding is going to have to go and I am going to have to find a "dead head" gaited horse for him as hubby is a VERY beginner. Up to 17yo would even be fine as long as it is in very good health.
With the market for horses the way it is, and even though it is beginning to pick up some, I expect I may have to trade with someone that is going to non-gaited. He is a fine horse, purebred, but no papers, and not high strung. Anyone know of someone that may be interested??
thanks,
deb
