Hi,

This is a fruit that I used to eat as a child I am sure.

But I have forgotten the name of it.

Could it be a Pommygrant????????? lol

Thanks for your help,

Debi

Hi Guys,

It is a pretty tree, how can you tell when the fruit is ripe?

Isn't it incredible how a smell or in this case a fruit can bring back so many menories!

I bought a bag of "Blood and Bone" thing it was a potting mix but now I find out it is a fertilizer. Can it be used on cacti and succulents and how do you use it correctly so you dont burn your plants???????

Thanks my friends,

Debi xo

I always wait until the fruit starts to split.
Blood and Bone, I only ever throw a handful around my established plants.
I wouldn't use it on cacti and succulents,
Colleen and Brian will know if it's ok.
Good luck.

Hi Debi. I usually put rapid raiser in the mix that I put the cactus into and you could do the same with the blood and bone. It's pretty strong so dont use too much. It's good stuff for fruit trees and vegies and you can put it around the garden. Colleen
