Getting material

I realized how great www.freecycle.org is in my area. I made a post and two people are giving me fabric scraps and unwanted clothing. I can use it to make all kinds of stuff! Quilts, toys, bags, and so much more. Can't wait to see what goodies there will be in those mystery bags of stuff.

I think I will feel better about using scraps as a newby anyhow. I hate cutting up large chunks of pretty fabric not knowing if i will mess it up!lol

Check out freecycle in your area. Of course, after you sign up, you will recieve a bundle of emails on rules and etiquette. Then post away!
