Can you use a wood stove as a kiln?

I'm new to Dave's Garden and tumbling glass.

I'm LOVING both!!

What I want to know is - can I use my wood stove to warm glass instead of a kiln?

I want to use the tumbled glass pieces that are too small for jewelry to make into pieces of artwork but I don't have a kiln.

Has anyone tried this?
