Whether you grow your bulbs, corms or tubers in the ground or in pots show us what you have blooming.
What is blooming now?
Doggone Marie...That's a purdy shot of pink there. We are having freezing rain-actually snowed earlier this week, so no blooms yet. Makes looking at yours all the better:)

My first Hyacinth --Splendid Cornelia
Splendid Cornelia is usually my first, but sometimes just by a couple of days. She blooms with the earliest French Roman types. These bulbs were planted many years ago and just keep coming up, although the blooms are smaller than in their first years.
I have many hyacinths emerging and in bud, but I will post them on a separate thread.
Chris
Love the hyacinth Chris. I have a couple that are returning this year that I was not expecting at all!! I will have to take some more pictures when I get home today. Lots blooming and lots with buds.
soilsandup I need to add more jonquils to my garden. I really like those.
Wow those are beautiful blooms!! All of my South Africans are in pots too. Which Lachenalia is that?
Marie ~ this one is Lachenalia aloides var. quadricolor and those were my first blooms on it! How can we not like something that will bloom at this time of year!?!!

I also have L. Rupert which is budding and should bloom before long.
Always glad to see Glad blooms ~ very pretty. What is the first one? A Stapelia or starfish bloom?
Beautiful flowers Maria!
Keep em coming!
:-)
Nice Lachenalia bloom!!! I hope to have some of those next year :o)
This little guy L. Rupert was at Lowes just waiting for me last year. They are almost carefree.
I wish our Lowe's would carry plants like this!!
It was tucked in with the cacti and succulents. The leaves were spotted with purple when I got it but the purple dots have faded. I haven't figured out yet how to keep the leaves dotted.
Thanks ~ my first photo was L. aloides var. quadricolor... is yours the same? I have an illness. It is for African bulbs. LOL
I have africanbulbitis too. It is seriously dangerous to have. Well at lest to your pocket book
My Lachenalia is an aloides, I've also the the purplish one and some viridiflora. Unfortunately the latter two are nothing but foliage this year. The aloides is bearing but a singular spike (last years presentation had many more). I'll see if I can find a pic.
Wow the full pot of blooms on the aloides is to lust after. Mine is just first starting to produce another bulb. I like the foliage on your Velthemia bloom assuming that is what I am seeing in the background. Very nice!
