Microsof Works Word Processor closes when I copy/paste

Any time I try to paste something copied onto a page I am working on, it closes.
I get a pop up box asking if I want to 1. close the program, or 2. check online for a solution.
If I check online, it closes anyway. Then it pops up a little flag box saying that Data Execution Prevention has closed Microsoft Works Word Processor.

I went into the settings and turned off the DEP for the program but it is still doing it.
(well at least I followed the steps to turn it off ?!)
I have no idea if that was the problem or not, but it still won't let me copy and it just shuts down.

Can anyone help me with this?
