What foods are high in iron??

i went to South Africa to a doctor there a while ago, turns out my iron is very high. i need to go again to have it tested in March, and if its still high i need to start donating blood. not a comforting thought, considering i'll have to donate here in Mozambique, and the way these nurses use needles....
could anyone please give me advice as to what foods contain a lot of iron?
