We have a fairly large number of Yellow-bellied marmots (Groundhogs) that live in our area. We have a few around town but TG... none so far in my yard, they can be very destructive eating everything in sight. In large numbers the smell around their burrow is quite odorous...PHEW!!!

This fat Yellow-Bellied Marmot continued his afternoon rest but he did keep an eye on us as we drove past in the truck.
