The Groundhog report is in. Looks like an early spring here. Wouldn't that be cool if that actually happened. We really got ripped off for spring last year.
And the Ontario GroundHog 'SAW' his shadow, and we have 6 more weeks of winter to deal with. SInce we have rec'd very little snow .. we ALL know that one of these fine days, we are gonna get THUMPED !!!

We have LOTS os sun. In fact, driving in the car going west, the sun was coming in my drivers side window and it was downright HOT !!! Course, when I got out of the car .. the NW wind sure cooled me off fast !!!

It has been foggy & frosty for days. My Dad used to say that 6 months after a Hoar Frost it would be heavy rains. If that's true, we will have a soggy start in August.

Came in like a little lamb here in Thunder Bay.
Just came in from out .. temps are +7C .. have been raking pine cones and spruce needles (and empty peanut shells) in just a sweat shirt and track pants, was even able to whack down some dead Evergreen boughs ..
Course, with the melt, comes the MUD, one of the drawbacks of country living .. not too many drawbacks but that one is a stunner when you have wee puppy and pussy paws in your home LoL
Enjoy your day .. have to read up more on winter sowing as the south facing part of the house is extremely warm (outside)
