Sc taxes if you havent heard forms need to be downloaded

now the tax forms have to be printed down off a computer with the book if you need it. Forms will not be sent out to Sc residents this year. i just called and found this out.

the place to get the forms is

the number to the tax office is 803 898 5000

said its been on tv and newspapers when i asked if they planned to send out a notice. i didnt know nothing of this. so i know others dont either. hope this helps. Marie

Really?? You can pick them up in the post office I believe as well. Many people have computers but that's kind of a leap to assume almost all have computers and an internet connection. Probably saves a boat load of money.

Georgia is in the same boat, The paper forms are hard to find. The pressure is on to e-file. I am an AARP tax volunteer and I can only get a few copies. Even the feds are pushing e-file which we do, but there are people and circumstances that demand paper. e filing does save the government money.

no the post offices and libraries here and in the capital dont have them there. they have notices to get them on line.
