Neither 'Panache' nor 'Ehemanii' produce seed.
'En Avant' does produce seed, but I do not have any right now.

Thanks Alice! When I did a google search for them I read a couple places that said they had the seeds for these but were out so I assumed they did produce seed. Guess you can't always believe what you read. I'll just have to get the tubers in the spring.

Hmmm ...
Well, that is interesting .. lol
That is Malcolm in the UK blog, and he should know what his does if he has grown it out.
Maybe he doesn't have the original 'Panache'. None of my original 'Panache' has ever produced seed. It's pollen is viable though.
Some have 'Gravitas' or other hybrids now as 'Panache' is a possible explanation.
'Gravitas' and some of the others do produce seed.

I'll still just have to get some tubers in the spring. If I run across some seeds somewhere I'll give them a try and see what I get. Thanks again for your reply.
