Ok, I started the bird cage. Here is one side. I decided to do two sides coil. The other two will probably be bars. The bottom will be solid (of course) and the top…the top will be ???? I’ll have to do several firings once those have been fired - the top will be fired separately - so that I can add the clasps. It should just fit into my big kiln. It’s laying on glass so it won’t warp. So far so good. The real trick will be getting it off the glass onto the shelf. It is porcelain so I will fire at 5 or 6. Gulp!!!
