this was a cutting from someone... any idea what it is.. was one of my favs last year

looks chocolate, but dont bank on my answer I havn't grown it.

I am thinking it might be one of Pirl's

beckwith's gem.... one of my all-time faves. or walter turner.

If it was from me, Allison, I don't remember it and I doubt if I have it but maybe with more sunshine I'll find it and actually have a name to go with it. In the meantime I'll copy your photo and compare it against the coleuses I had when you were here.

Rosey Dawn's picture of Mahogany Giant shows a coleus in the background which looks very much like yours. Quickly scanning through their other offerings, though, I saw several which were close, but all differed in some detail.

looks pretty close.. yours might get a bit more sun than mine.. maybe that's why you have a bit more red????
