Hi,
I participated in 2 amaryllis co-ops last fall and this one is suppose to be "CHARISMA "
Could anyone of you ID this please ? it is GEORGEOUS and large blossoms but I would like to have the correct name :-)

Look up Prelude in the Plant Files. There are several different cultivars with that distinctive white edge.

I looked up "Prelude" and it looks pretty much like yours,now I am looking up "Samba".

LOL that picture in the files is yours too ...so you call it.They DO look so close.

Here is another picture of the stem with flowers.I planted these bulbs on October 28th and this picture was taken on Dec.30th 2009

Since my amaryllis bloomed I am just smitten by them :-) and will definately get more this year.
