With the TWC/Fox battle currently raging on, I am considering going to one of the satellite providers.

Aside from cost (which I can see by configuring what I want on one of their websites), does anyone have any firm druthers ... one over the other ... and support for that decision?

Factual comments would help me considerably (e.g. "this one" has poor reception or "that one" loses signal during HD or "customer service" is pathetic on "such and such"
