The Chinook didn't quite make it here. sunny and about -12ºC. Now the forecast is for some flurries the next few days with mid minus teens for highs.

Just finishing my seed wish list. Have placed a T&M order - Dec 31 promo for free shipping. I have a lot of seeds left over from last year, so I need to go thru that as well before I place more orders. I also ordered a couple of early (January) stuff, so as soon as that arrives I'm going to start a few trays. 'going to try wax begonias & trachilium (throat wort) for the 1st time. It would appear that my petunia fetish is still strong and now have a rudbeckia thing started.

DAWG Joanne .. my Rudbeckia 'fetish' was in FULL bloom after a year of blossoming ideas, 2 years ago .. I have learned that this plant is GORGEOUS and PROILFIC!! AND, the deer will eat it on a cold winters day (like today) if you didn;t prune it back in the fall !!!

Nice sunny day. Temps are about -12ºC. Filled the bird feeder and we have a whack of birds enjoying the treat and sunshine.

It's supposed to warm up over the next week. The roads were awful yesterday with a lot of crashes. I passed a few roll-overs. Most people seem to lack winter driving skills and drive way too fast.
