I am new to this forum and renewing my interest in quilting. For about 20 years I taught and custom designed needlepoint, embroidery, painting on fabric, knitting, crocheting, etc. I stopped to join corporate life. Now I'm thinking of leaving that and pursuing my hobbies. I made a living off my hobbies for a long time. That can be a good thing and a bad thing. I'm looking forward to just "doing my own thing".
Here is a pic of a quilt top I started about 5 years ago and dropped ... just finished it yesterday and am off to get batting to start quilting today!!! I've been wondering about the quilting pattern itself and so far have decided on sort of a swirl pattern.
