I am looking for adding some new books to my gardening library to read over the long cold Chicago winter (zone 5a). I like all types of plants rated for zone 5. Hostas-magnolias-native plants-shade plants-water gardening plants.
I would recommend "Foliage" by Nancy Ondra (20070. It is about color and texture beyond flowers. I have learned a TON from this book and have re-read it many times and always seem to remember/learn something each time. The pictures are amazing!
