books by Michael Crichton

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I have read Jurassic Park, Timeline and Prey over the last several years. A couple days ago, I checked State of Fear out of the library.

If you have read any of his other books, what did you think, and what were your favorites?

Prey - that was one spooky book. I listened to it on tape or CD in the car - and working 2nd shift, I remember being quite uneasy during my drive home in the dark, late at night.

Timeline I didn't enjoy as much.

I was really surprised to see, on his website, that he has passed away.

I enjoy these type of books, that are not quite full fledged sci fi, but things you can almost believe would happen. Any other authors in a similar vein that anyone can recommend?
