I started this quilt in 1994 to help me get back the use of my right hand after surgery. 3 months after surgery and after physical therapy, I still had trouble with fine muscle control so I started this quilt and did all the sewing by hand. You can look at the stitching and see the difference between than and now. When I was in school for my BA, I packed the quilt away and only worked on it once in a while. Now that I'm retired and looking at winter snow and cold weather, I've decided to finish my quilt.
