Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Thanks again, Susie, for giving the Robin flight again and for all your hard work. So far I don't have any seeds earmarked for others but cha know how that can change.

Don, I'm bummed I don't have a single one on your list but somebody might. Diamond? Anybody?

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

DON : You Might be slightly disappointed when you get the robin for most of what we are sharing are the most common seeds there s a few for-get-nots but might not be the ones you want .

most in the box are marrigolkds , coneflowers rudbeckias, daisys , columbines, Hollyhocks , you should join us in the spring when we do our plant swaps . then you might find a few of your plants .

If you decide you do not want to waste the postage for seeds you may not want please just let me know .
susie

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

When the Robin has sung its last song, what does everyone think we should do with the seeds we have left? Grow sprouts for a salad or more realistically should we donate them to newbies?

Port Vincent, LA(Zone 8b)

:)

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

WELL I know of a school that is teaching kids how to garden so if you all don't want them i know i could give some to them . & if you all know of some one who could use some go for it .

BUT I Need my SANTA Bags back :) . well I'm ready to go sit back you all have a great evening .

susie

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Sounds good. Since I'm last I'll make sure to return your goody bags.....those are so cute.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

well i just looked at the tracking # & It says No such # But I have the proof right here is front of me with the $8.85 reciet :) so guess the post offices are to busy to scan anything :( would be nice if it lands today :) but that is wishfull thinking :)))

susie

(Anita) Fort Wayne, IN(Zone 6a)

GM all, I hope e1 is safe and warm. I understand we have more snow heading our way. I'm praying that we are all prepared for whatever the snow, wind and frigid temperature brings.

Fruit, I don't think I have any of the seeds he has listed. I may have had some Lily of the Valley but I'm not sure. I will have to check once I get home. If I have them I will make an envie for Lazlo.

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Now you gals have really confused me - - has this RR been called off - - Susie wrote: "BUT I Need my SANTA Bags back " . . . FOTV sez give them to newbies . . . which I did just a week ago, to the tune of 3.5 pounds of seeds - so believe me, arejay doan need moh raght now.

I have this enormous list of things I have available for the RR and now I don't know if I should post it or save it for something else.

It's not nice to confuse the elderly like this.

Thumbnail by LazLo
(Anita) Fort Wayne, IN(Zone 6a)

No Lazlo, LoL. It's not being called off. I think Susie was just saying that this time the Robin is so fat that we should only add envies that you have for specific people and if we take any of the "free for all " seeds, we should not replace them with seeds from our stash. Round Robin 2 is just going to be a "take" what has your name on it or "take" from the "free for all" but don't add anything. That way the box will get lighter hence less expensive through the course of the flight. If you want to list your seeds maybe others might be interested in those seeds and you can start an envie for those people

I am only looking for tropical seeds and seeds that produce flowers that attract hummingbirds or butterflies.

I have a bunch of seeds i wanted to add to the Robin this time as well. I may just have to post them for trade.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

I'm Sorry for confusing anyone for I thought only I was confused :) HEHE

The Bird is On track & DON You Are welcome to any of the seeds that you can use . in the robin
I Just Know That there is not Much in the box that you had listed .
However I Have LOADS Of Lily of the valley PLANT I Can Share with you come Spring :)))

As for adding New Seeds that are not in the Robin that is fine But If there is MIXED MARIGOLDS OR
RUDBECKIA MIXED MIXED HOLLYHOCKS singles , Then Please do not add more of them .

But If you have other varieties of columbines, HollyHock DBLES , DAYLILY SEEDS OTHER Then STELLA"S
& IRIS SEEDS , Hosta seeds , maybe some GOURDS Of Many Types , maybe Even some , Parsnips, or
carrots Different types of Beans , Putunias ,
These are types I would like to see ,

later in March or april I will be doing a RARE SEED Swap to share so keep watch for that for it is a fun swap .
& you can start looking for them now till then :)))

well i have to go put lunch on so back later
susie

don are you unconfused now ????

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

nope - just added my stash . . . see above ↑↑↑↑↑↑

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Just a wild idea, but how 'bout we give anything remaining in §anta Bag #1 at the end of RR 2 to arejay for the DG newbie welcome kits? Or am I actually still confused? Y'know ideas are not my best suit to play . . . That's why I lurk so much in these swap thingies.

Thumbnail by LazLo
(Anita) Fort Wayne, IN(Zone 6a)

Ok now I am confused LoL!!!! So am I only adding seeds that are not already in the "free for all"?

Port Vincent, LA(Zone 8b)

LOL edited to say, Geez, what a lot of seeds.

This message was edited Dec 15, 2009 2:31 PM
