Hope you join in and let us know how the weather is affecting you today. This is a good day to stay indoors for us. Yesterday, the kid & I went to a workshop at a local florist's shop. Here are our creations. Mine is the one with the roses, Melissa's is the carnations & candle.

Staying in and sewing dog beds. Dogs dont even want to stay out long not even visitor Tug who loves to lie in the snow. Saw Fancy eating a yard snack with one rear leg in the air! Where is the camera when you need it?

The Weather Network said that Edmonton (at the Int'l Airport) was the coldest place on Earth yesterday. Colder than the Antarctica.

The cat & dog sure miss being outside.

The fluffy white stuff just started falling here, but our temps are a lot better than anywhere else in the rest of Canada!!! My DD in Edmonton says she's never going grocery shopping in -40 weather again. She might have to starve first!

My neighbors are in Sidney for the entire month. They escaped the frigid temps here, but looks like not the snow. It is suppose really warm up to above freezing temps starting Wednesday. Although more snow is in the long term forecast, the temperatures will be great. The perfect weather to go have a look at the Zoo Christmas Light display. It is always spectacular if it is snowing out.

snow's gone, rain's here, above 0 for the rest of the week, all is well in Victoria weather.

The warmer air has arrived. It was different temps all over the city and one area that I drove thru was -3ºC. Tomorrow should be great!

Well it got colder as the day went by. -10ºC for the last few hours. A few flakes earlier and it is forecasted to snow during the night, tomorrow and a bit Tuesday. At least with these temps, the snowflakes are a bit bigger and pretty. @ -30ºC the new snow is like flour.

Not light enough outside to see how must snow we got .. am thinking it isn't much though .. and my thermometer, in farenheit, says 18F which is well BALMY !!!

Beautiful sunny day -1ºC official temp, but I think it only got to -4ºC at my house. We went to the zoo and had a look at their Christmas light displays.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, it was a really good day. As Heather said, it's been lovely here, frosty in the morning but lots of sun with highs 4 - 6. Calgary looks cold!.

Joanne .. the pics are great .. I think the lights are one of my favourite things about Christmas .. would have to be because we sure do NOT get 'Raindrops on Roses' here in the winter LoL .. lotsa brown paper packages tied up with string (and tape) though cuz there was LOTS of online shopping done this season.

I do think we can safely stow the shovels and snowblower for today .. gosh it's difficult to type with your fingers crossed !!

Wasn't very nice in Ottawa yesterday - freezing rain, but it didn't stop Air Canada. We got in OK last night. Milder today and the ice was melting off everything. I'm hoping for some cold as I need my screened porch as a freezer in the next few days.

Well .. the shovels DID come out yesterday .. but .. the snow was fluffy ..
Hopefully any snow we get today will be short lived .. keep hearing the temps will be dropping .. oh well .. it IS winter :-)
