i'll be going in for surgery in march. any thoughts on whether to choose a podiatrist/surgeon or an orthopedic surgeon? also, what can i expect in terms of recovery time? is it a local or a full anesthesia? of course, i'll be getting this info from the doctor but i like to hear real life experiences.
