I just received my first amaryllia. It bloom, and bloom. Now it is not blooming anymore and I cut back all the old bloom stems, and now it is shooting up a lot of new leaves. It is in the house. What do I do with it now? Please advise.

Help, What to do, what to do!
I'm not an expert but the leaves will be feeding the bulbs that were making the flowers. I'd just water and fertilise them until they decide to go dormant themselves, with well fed tummies (bulbs).
I'm glad it did so well for you!
Yes, basically treat it like a houseplant... there's some info in the DG article I wrote on caring for them & getting them to rebloom: http://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/view/468/
You can grow them in the ground here . I have several varieties outside
Good catch, Marie! I hadn't noticed she was someplace warm enough for that... I'd be having zone envy right about now, except we had such a pretty day today, all blue skies and white snow. :-)
Chimine,
Let it totally dry out for a month or two--then water it and it will bloom again. The blooms may be smaller if you do not let the leaves nourish the bulb long enough--
Cheers--
