I have a plate I bought and it is missing the little doo dads that you run the string through to hang it up. I can see where they used to be, but for some reason either they were taken off or whatever.
I would like to sand the slick finish off of the area, and use some type of glue to attatch some fish tank tubing to the back, just a very small piece, like 1/2 inch long on each side of the plate, where the hangers used to be. Then run some ribbon through it to hang it up.
Does that sound like it would work, and what kind of glue do I use and any other advice pretty please!?
