Thanks, Kell. That bird was in a Norfolk Island pine. The NIP's grow huge over here.
We have big ones (NIPs) here too but not your great birds to go with them or your other most colorful trees, SADLY!
Kell, our climates seem fairly similar. what grows here is likely to grow in CA.
I think where I am is a bit cool for some of your trees. In LA area they do grow. I am in Northern Ca. We have had frost here this week. Though right where I am not too bad, maybe down to 32 degrees for a few hours at night.
Yes, that probably is a little chilly. Half your luck.
