This is a new canna and one of the prettiest cannas I have ever grown .. if not the prettiest!
It's leaves are not dark or green, but somewhere in between.
I have several names it could be, but none yet seem to be just right.
If anyone cares to input, I am up for hearing suggestions :)

I have had difficulty deciding this one because the colour is strawberry.
But along the petal edges she turns very light.

Dave wants to keep "strawberry" in the name because that is it's colour, and as it is a rich strawberry colour, he wants that in it. Delight, dream, frost, cream .. are some choices to go with it.
But I know I need to get it named soon.
We had over 3 feet of snow and everyone's power was off for a week and more with temps in the teens-20's. We have all been in survival mode the last weeks.
February has been a rough month in sw Pennsylvania with huge snow, ice, collapsing buildings, huge icicles, etc. As I always have my camera with me, I have taken some awesome photos I need to put somewhere to be remembered.
I doubt the new site will be done for spring, but I will try. We are already busy and all that has gone on with weather here this winter, I need to be able to concentrate to do it right. So soon as able I will get it going.
As I have been having a very busy time on several fronts even before this, I started putting some of the cannas as I got good photos in summer on a blog to help me stay organized: http://karcheskycannablog.blogspot.com/
But soon as time to focus to do better, I will.

Oh wow, I hope the weather gets better for you all.. Its silly I'm in canada and were lucky if we have 6".. I'd be surprised if we got even 24" all year.. We only got 2 big storms and both were under 8"... Schools here haven't even had a snow day yet...
