Pajarito, do tell us about blue ray. DH thinks it will make DVDs obsolete very soon. What do you think about it?

Yesterday I noticed that the LARGEST video store in my town closed down. I guess dvds have gotten cheap enough that people are just buying, or Netflix is taking over. The mom & pop videos stores have been gone a while. I was surprised that our Blockbuster video shut down.
