Wow thanks everybody! So far I have had two parties and I think they will extend until the end of the month!

I got lots of flowers from students (roses, gerberas, amaylllis) -- do I have them trained or WHAT? And my neon pink amaryllis opened ON my birthday... I think that is awesome.

As for the gift Growjo, my husband says he will take me to a garden center and buy me whatever I choose! I was thinking of large wooden planters for the front where I could grow dahlias without tree root competition... has anyone seen these in Calgary?
