I got lucky and created a new variety of indian corn. How does one go about getting it recognized and selling it ?
The pics don't do it justice. The corn is irridescent ! I am calling it " American Gothic ".

Neat and Interesting yes. New variety - Not likely. What you have, looks like an open pollinated ear that is mixed pollen from one or more sources. Most likely any of the widely available calicos and green dents.
Planting the seed will most likely result in a lot of segregation towards a hand full of colors. The Seed Savers Exchange had a few articles about a Mr. Ernie Strubbie, who worked with several colors. Your ears look very much like some I have seen from his material 20 years ago.
Sorry to rain on your parade. Those lines can be a lot of fun to play with and some interesting ears can be found. But it isn't a retirement program.
