My friend has flying squirrels in the attic. She only slept about two hours last night
with them romping all through it. The problem is complex. The eves are about 40' off the ground, and that is probably where they are getting in. There is no interior entrance to the attic, and climbing that high is dangerous. They are not eating the peanut butter mole/gopher bait either. I really can't imagine what she can do without
accessing the attic.
I have a resident groundhog who sleeps under my floor. I think it may remain awake
most of the winter. I understand they can have pups (?), and I could be over run with them sooner or later. They are supposed to be hard to trap. What should I do?

Groundhogs are true hibernating animals, which is why the Groundhog Day "holiday" exists - it's a notable event when they wake up to look around for a mate, so I don't think you'd hear much out of them over the winter. Any time now, it will start hibernating and you wouldn't be able to catch it anyway.
