As ya'll know, I took out a big Silver Maple 2 years ago .. now the mushrooms are appearing .. don't know what kind they are but they are all over the yard where the tree was and in some instances you can actually follow a line where a big root is decaying.

The maple will not reappear which is a good thing
I knew I'd be seeing them .. just didn't know when .. definitely a good sign .. my neighbors have been knocking on my door asking me what the heck in going on! Alarmed actually! I reassure them that it's normal and quite frankly .. I think they are beautiful in their own mushroomy way.
