Our entire yard was destroyed in process of correcting waterflow issues. Now we are redesigning to rebuild. Most difficult situation is by our back door. We have started jackhammering out the straight concrete sidewalks because they had worked just like a "superslide" to bring water to our back door. LOL. New paths will be curved and made of natural stone, (Oklahoma flagstone, we think). Will have dry creekbed to catch water before it gets down to back door. The long section of sidewalk going to the top of photo where the steps are cannot be removed because it is connected to the foundation of our house and the new stone paths that will connect at the back door will butt right up to it. Need some way to change the look of that sidewalk.
Do you know of any adhesive that could withstand water and cold that we could use to overlay extra thin flagstone over the concrete? Only other choice, I guess, would be to dye the old sidewalk a shade of brown so it isn't such a drastic change from the look of the flagstone. To be honest, we're stumped and can't go forward until we find a solution to this.
Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
