CLOSED: Shrub Hibiscus

Port Norris, NJ(Zone 7b)

I locally exchanged some garden work for 2 plastic bags full of
Hardy hibiscus pods. I really want to find good homes for these lovely seeds.

These are magenta dinner plate sized flowers.

The hibiscus shrub is 5-6 ft high and about as wide around.

Also - I live by a marsh and have access to Marsh Mallows pods.
Pics of both are on my "have list"
AND if you'd like morning glory seeds- I'm inundated with them as well.
Morning Glory are either "Heavenly Blue" or "Blue Star". Dropped the darn trays
the other day & they scattered all over the place.

I am offering 10 seeds to the package as these are large shrubs.
If you want more per pack just tell me how many you want. PLEASE ASK !

SASE w/2 stamps on a small envelope work perfectly.
D-mail request please.

Was just informed that the hibiscus are all dark magenta in color and not
the varied color mix I had orginally posted they were. My apologies.

Are these hardy Hibiscus?

If so I would love to either trade for some seeds or do the SASE what ever you prefer.
Please look at what I have, and let me know.

Cris316,
I would be interested in the hibiscus seeds also. I had one of these in a deep red in Calif and just loved it. It has a new home in the mountains there as I could not fit it in my car when I made the move to KY.

Anyone wandering in I still have 180 packages of Hibiscus to find
a home for.

The marsh mallows have podded - literally thousands of them.
I have a pic on what they look like on my "have list" directly below
the hibiscus type I'm offering in this thread.

Cris,

I would love some of all you are offering. I will look through my stash and see what I have in white/blue/purple. I am sending a SASBE. Thank you for such a generous offer.

Tami :)

I would love a packet or two of the hibiscus seeds. The city plants these in the median not far from us and they look beautiful every year. I don't have much to trade - coreopsis or blue flax is about it. Need an address to send a SASE or trade to. D-mail me?

Valdosta, GA(Zone 8b)

Cris,

I mailed envy today. I am sending Browallia Blue Bells, Convolvulus 'Royal Ensign Blue', Vinca First Kiss Blueberry, Platycodon Astra Double Blue, and Platycodon 'Hakone White' Double. I looked at your have list and if you could spare any of the Chinese Wisteria or China Aster that would be great. Thank you.

Tami :)

I still have not received anything.

Jude, your seeds went out about a week ago ! If you haven't received
them by the weekend let me know & I will send a replacement.

There are times I really hate the PO.

yup. we get wrong deliveries all the time. usually we just walk them over as it's usually the same address on the next street. one time it was the medco by mail meds for the old lady that lives there. not good.
