Japanese Wisteria

We were visiting Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania yesterday and saw these Japanese Wisteria there. They look so cool.

They have trained them to look like little trees.

And here they are ..... just being vines.

A look through the arbor.... you just have to stop and peek inside.

Those are just gorgeous... I wish I could make mine do that. Actually that is spectacular. Thanks for sharing it.

Hubby and I have been pulling ours up for quite some time now. It is invasive in Alabama. It was here when we bought the house. Seems we clean it out and before we can walk back to the house it is climbing up the tree again.. Problem is it chokes the trees and I would rather it go than my large oaks.

daisylovn - you should use them in trade to places they can't be invasive
