I'm looking to add another Starfruit to my collection. Currently, I have a Fwang Tung, which has never fruited, but is otherwise healthy.
Having read up on recommended varieties, I see Arkin is popular for commercial, but has a lower suger content than Kari and Sri Kembangam. B-10 also seems a popular choice.
Anyone out there have experience with the different cultivars and suggestions as to which one is the best choice? It'd be a bonus if it's well suited to pot culture.
Favorite Starfruit Cultivar
I absolutely love the bell cultivar. Larger and ridiculously sweet. It's the starfruit for those who think they don't like starfruit. I got mine through Excalibur in Lake Worth, Fl.
I have little to compare it to, but I love my Kari.
I've heard good things about the Kari, and I'll definitely look for the Bell next March when I'm over on the East Coast again. Not sure you can ever have too many starfruit!
