Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Really enjoying the virtual safari here, thanks so much for posting, that's a dream trip of mine, doing a safari!
We just had friends from Canada visiting for the weekend, left this morning. She's from So. Africa although she's been in the country now for 30 years, she still has her lovely accent. She often talks of the wildlife seen while on holidays in Kruger Park.

Doh, edited for park spelling!

Calif, yes Kruger park is a big and lovely place to visit, you need a good week to drive from the bottom to the top end. You can do it faster, but it would not give time to turn on the side-roads. Best time to visit is just after winter and before the summer when thunderstorms and rain do turn the park "lush green", making it much more difficult to see animals.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Wow did I ever enjoy looking at your thread. Great wildlife. I can only imagine, the thrill of seeing all those animals in person. I will certainly be watching for more.
