Just replaced my Dell tower 4550 and would like to reconfigure it for my grandson. Anything would be better than nothing. I have the original discs. Do I need to do something first to clean the hard drive. I know a clean install would reconfigure the hard drive. Then since I have a kajillion updates, hot fixes, etc. etc. what do I do to upgrade all of that junk?
