Has anyone used a maid service to clean their house???
I would like to know what a one time whole house cleaning would cost...ya know... ball park figure.
I just realized, hubby owes me a birthday gift. It was either going to be some furniture or maid service for the day. I think one day of cleaning is kinda lame, though. I'd rather have the furniture.
i suggest having him clean the house!

oh well - you want it clean - try a proffesional, not sure what the cost is, suppose it depends on the home size and what cleaning you want done. just call a few and get estimates.
Yeah, I was going to do that but wanted to see what my Dg friends said first.
What I would pay would depend on what services she would provide.

Merimaids is bokuuu bucks for a whole house clean, they do a great job.
I could never afford them.
Interview a few cleaners before you hire.They are competetive here.
Many do not pick up laundry off the bathroom flooe,sort clothes rom the dryer,make beds,sift thru piles of newspapers and magazines.
They just move and clean around stuff.
Wow - that's a lot for one day of general stuff.

no.3 bathrooms lots of wood floors.
Windows and refrig cleaning and ovens and micros are extra.
For $130, I bought the Roomba. Does a great job on the floors. That's a lot of money for just the basics. $45 an hour!
That's a lot, almost sounds like extortion.
They come with a great sucking machine(thats with an"s" victor) and it really goes after the cat hair.
And your money too!
Its cheap for me to live here so thats what i contribute to the monthly expence in lieu of rent.
Plus build gardens to enhance the place.
