How DO I CLOSE IT???

You can not place a "closed" caption on this forum. Watch that Virginia creeper vine though....it will really "creep" away from it's home place! BTW.....I ride a red horse here.;-)

You Go, Honey.
Thanks

Your very welcome;-)

The sap affects me the same as poison ivy.

I bet it is a relative, don't you imagine. I just don't know how it got here,
must have been Birds depositing seeds. Wasn't that nice of them? ^_^

rideredmule, Va. creeper is in the Vitaceae family and Poison-Ivy is in the Anacardiaceae family but like Kalpavriksha said, some people can have a reaction to the sap as well.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

It's like Sumac. Some people are allergic to it too.
Thank you, Rachel.

Yep;-)

Have a great weekend.

This is poison ivy. Met Goliath!

This vine is somewhere between 50 to 100 years old as is that oak tree he is hugging!

They sure do get attached to their trees don't they?/ The bad thing is they look so good climbing the tree. Now this is poison isn't it?
I still have plenty of Virginia creeper if you need any. I have some donkeys and a mule. I had ivy growing up an old oak tree, you notce I said "Had" They ate all the ivy they can reach. They are "goats" my husband says. But they can clean a pasture

My vine is poison ivy. Some people are allergic, some are not.

We were having a grand discussion on this plant on the houseplant forum.. perhaps you would like to join us there to learn a little bit more on my "buddy" Goliath.

Here is the link!
