Ronnie, Helena, and Jackie - Gorgeous blooms! Each and every one of them!

Ronnie - Great shot of the Blue Early Call! I hope someone can ID it for you.

Helena - Lovely, all of them! I think you are right about one or two of the ones I am currently growing might be from you. I have located my list finally, but it's too late tonight to post the list, so will post tomorrow.

Jackie - Lady Laura? WOW! That is a knock-out! Are you sure that is mine? It is obviously a cross "if" it is my Lady Laura. I didn't do much hand-pollinating that first year when I grew Lady Laura. I will have to go back and see what it might have crossed with. Open pollination for sure. The bees and hummers love the MG blooms! Looks like someone was dipping into blooms on the different vines! LOL! Mine was solid bright pink. Are your blooms large or medium size? I can't even imagine what the pollen plant might have been. But I did grow a lot of solid colors with white margins that first year.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Becky, It has to be from your seeds as these are the only
Lady Laura seeds I have. Someone sent their Lady Laura pic a few days ago and mine was nothing like it. It does remind me of
Xiong's Chinese, the color somewhat similiar.

Forgot to say the Lady Laura is a 4 and 1/2 inch bloom,
nice size

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Lovely, Jackie.. I like it ..

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Becky.

Very pretty Lady Laura Jackie! I have 2 different blooms on those but damaged blooms don't look good on pics.

Oh oh, I got 2 vines that are labeled Gray Star with pink blooms, I sowed a number of seeds from it just for that reason. Be warned you might not get Gray Star but still a pretty bloom.

The other vine with Gray Star label had this bloom. I did grow it close to China Doll & pink tie dye last year and solid chocolate, open pollinated the bees did their work.

Becky, You were right and I was wrong. Not Lady Laura,
Morning Storm. Just forgive an old, confused lady. lol
Lady Laura is making the Choc/Rose Silk type Blooms for me.
Still, Morning Storms blooms are not supposed to look like this either.
Sure makes my life exciting though.
More beautiful blooms Helena. I like the Gray Star cross.
Thanks Debra.
I know this is not a good pic but this is the type bloom I'm
getting from Lady Laura

This is what I found on my mutant mglory from Quaint Charm this
morning. I was so worried that I had rotted this seed that
I finally left it alone and quit hovering like a mother hen. lol
So it sprouted and grew. I'm so happy, hoping for one of those
gorgeous blooms. If not from this plant from the resultant seeds
I plant
Thank you Sarah.

Beutiful flowers. I really enjoy the progressing blizzards that keep the pastel colors in there. They will stop you in your tracks. This morning I got a little pink hige starting to wake up with this cooler weather approaching. I have trades for this one and more coming along.

I love FS, they are one of my fav. I have some growing on my mailbox with some black eyed susan vines.

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Helena - If I didn't know any better, I would say that your Flying Saucer was a cross between FS and Blue Star. What a pretty bloom! :-) All of them are really nice! Your Pink Porcelain is a Knockout!!!

Jackie - I love Blue Silk. I also grow that one every year because I love it so much! But this year I grew one that was called Sazanami. I also like Blue Blizzard! Wonderful!! Iwas really puzzled over that the bloom photos that you thought were Lady Laura. I love that Morning Storm. Pleaase save me a few seeds if you get enough to share! Your blooms ares soooo pretty! :-)

James - Another lovely bloom on your Pink Flaked I. purpurea! Keep those photos coming! ;-)

Karen - Nice Pink Hige! :-)

Sarah - I am growing another Fuji no Muraski (diluted mother vine/baby seed). It, too, doesn't have any diluted blooms on it yet. Hopefully it will soon. :-) I hope I get lots and lots iof seed.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, Love the bright pink, so pretty.

Thanks Becky, will save you some seeds of Morning Storm.
Would you please send us a pic of your Sazanami. I remember
that it was lovely but just can't recall what it looked like exactly.

Thanks everyone. Becky I was puzzled by FS too most of the blooms have been like this. It does look like it has blue star in it, seeds bought. This is a picture I took earlier in the summer.
